Balkan Steel Fest: Three Days Dedicated to Heavy Music in Plovdiv

This summer, Plovdiv will host Balkan Steel Fest, a three-day metal event organized by Festing, bringing together bands from across the region and beyond.

Each day of the festival will focus on a different style of metal, giving fans the chance to experience a wide range of sounds in a single weekend. The event will take place on an outdoor stage near the historic center of the city, combining heavy music with one of Bulgaria’s most iconic locations.

In addition to live performances, Balkan Steel Fest will feature merchandise stands, food zones, and dedicated spaces for fans to meet and connect. The festival is designed as a complete experience rather than just a series of concerts.

Festing describes the event as a long-term project aimed at strengthening the metal scene in Bulgaria and turning Plovdiv into a regular destination for heavy music fans.
